In “Darkroom - A procrastinator’s dream editor” I discuss Darkroom, an editor helping easily distracted people like myself focus for more than a few minutes at a time.
A problem with Darkroom are the bugs when trying to copy and paste, an annoying message pops up informing me that an error has occurred.
Another editor of a similar ilk has come to light, JDarkroom is much the same, a full screen green text editor with very few features. So far, it has none of the problems Darkroom has, well worth a look.

Being a boringly cautious fella, I knew before being brave enough to launch myself as a freelancer, there would be certain things needed to be done. As a way of testing the water and giving me the confidence to finally take the plunge.
There was no plan in place, or helping hand. Everything had to be done from scratch, which looking back were lessons that taught me skills still in use today.

HOW DULL WAS THAT!
I feel like the teams stole 2 hours of my life. It was painful to say the least. As expected, came the excuses that it’s been a long season and that they are a bit tired. awww, maybe they don’t get paid enough to stay fit.
New Wembley Stadium, the buzz, hype and spectacle all came to an end at kick off. What we were left with were two teams too scared to pretty much do what the paying spectator expects them to do. Move the ball forward as a team in an attempt to out play your opponent. Instead we were subjected to it being lumped forward to Drogba for him to “fall over”. Can that man not stand up? If ever there was a footballer what encapsulated all thats right and wrong in football, it would have to be Didier Drogba, for all his obvious talent in front of goal, no matter how much of an impact he makes with his natural ability as a forward, it will always be overshadowed by his “falling over” tactics.
Once the final whistle went, I felt all heavy headed like I had just awoken from a deep sleep.
What’s a shame is how the final is meant to be a global advert for the premiership league and season. The top two teams fighting it out for the FA Cup, bring on next premiership season. (Well, for some maybe, Sheffield United got relegated but we won’t go into that ;) )
