Saw a snippet on 8 out of 10 cats, a youtube search later and here it is in all its glory. P.S. This was a serious piece of indian cinema, and not a “Scary Movie” type mickey take.
If you prefer, this one is without the lyrics.

A spur of the moment decision to pick up my camera and take lots of family pix was impetus enough to get back into photography. Its been a long while since I did any serious photography, and guess what, I cannot remember a darn ting.
For a brief moment, I couldn’t remember how to turn it on. Then I couldn’t work out why all pictures were coming out dark, and blurry etc. I think I need a refresher course.

Just spoke to Lisa again, who does listen to what you have to say and is a credit to the company, and we had an honest discussion on where the system falls short. She agreed and apparently some of which will be implemented at a later date. The two features I mentioned were to have the ability to pre-approve leads before accepting them and to have a minimum budget.
Three leads later, and I am no where nearer landing work. One client wanted a site built for next to no money, another has decided to postpone the project for a while so my hopes rest with the third lead.
theseed still think the postponed project is still a valid one on the off chance that it will become active again later, In my experience, postponed projects rarely do.
Summary, stick with the traditional routes of networking and making yourself known. I personally think that if you hit the jackpot early, then you can recoup money spent on lost leads, it is a lottery though and you could potentially spend a lot of money before landing one. In my opinion, theseed is geared up for larger agencies who can afford to absorb the cost of lost leads.

In response to my query (if you want to catch up, read this post) I received a call from a very nice lady called Lisa. She informed me that the lead was not an e-commerce project initially.
I explained how the entire lead to agency process could be made a touch easier to work with. At the moment, when a lead comes in, regardless of whether it is suitable or not, you are deducted the fee for that lead. The Web development spectrum covers a whole range of tasks and expecting companies to want to pay for leads to projects where they do not have the skills in-house and don’t have the facility to outsource is unfair. A better solution would be to charge more per lead if you want the facility to pre-approve leads. Once approved, you are sent the clients contact details.
It’s under discussion.

I don’t normally bang on about music I am into. Generally, I find most music like drinking a warm, flat fizzy drink. One album I definitely recommend everyone should give a listen, is the new Editors album.
“An End Has A Start” is an absolutely brilliant album. It has a rare feature that you feel like listening to all tracks over and over again. Many albums have their weaker tracks, there isn’t one on the entire album.
Favourite tracks so far… “The weight of the world”, “Escape the nest” and “Smokers outside the hospital doors”.
